25-2. Using QEAM rack (8) as template, locate, mark, and drill four 0.344-in. diameter holes (10) in roof
of vehicle (15).
25-3. Mark location for four QEAM spacers (9) and apply RTV sealant to marked areas (11).
NOTE
Allow RTV to cure for 30 minutes.
25-4. Press four spacers (9) on roof of vehicle (15).
25-5. Position QEAM rack (8) over holes in four spacers (9).
25-6. Apply RTV to four bolt holes (10) and insert four bolts (6) and washers (7) in QEAM carrier.
25-7. Apply RTV to one side of four washers (12). Press washers (12) in place.
25-8. Install lockwasher (13) and nut (14).
