Battery analyzer (e.g. Midtronics or Pulsetech) or load tester (any brand available).

Battery post cleaner (NSN 5120-00-926-5175) or wire brush (NSN 7920-00-291-5815), any brand.
Pliers, slip joint preferred, any size.
Permanent marker, any color.
Chalk or pencil.
